About The Founder

Welcome to Athletic Bee, a company founded by Brian Paltan, a young entrepreneur with a passion for fitness and a drive to inspire others to reach their full potential. Brian's journey began at the age of 14 when he started working as a dishwasher in a Chinese restaurant. From there, he delivered pizzas for Domino's Pizza at 16, and at 17, he obtained his school papers for a security guard, eventually working in that field until he was 18. He then assisted his father in opening and running a cigar shop, but he knew he wanted to pursue more businesses on his own.

 

At 20, Brian was given the opportunity to join a Franchise company, a Pizza company , as the youngest entrepreneur at the time. The business thrived under his leadership, with Brian working more than 90 hours a week for months. With the approval of the franchise, he opened a second store and eventually a third, with his father joining the business as well. After four successful years in the pizza industry, Brian sold one of the stores to pursue his next venture - Athletic Bee.

 

Athletic Bee's mission is to inspire and empower individuals to live their best lives through fitness and an active lifestyle. We want to help people wake up early and seize the day while feeling confident and comfortable in our clothing.

 

Brian's own fitness journey is a testament to this mission. At 16, he was overweight and started working on his fitness. However, at 20, due to his busy work schedule, he stopped working out and gained a significant amount of weight. But he didn't give up. He worked hard to regain balance in his life and work, ultimately losing 37 kg in 2 years from age 23 to 25. He wants to inspire others to do the same and show them that anything is possible with dedication and perseverance.

 

We began our research and development for Athletic Bee a year before our official launch in September 2022. As a business, we are constantly seeking out the best manufacturers from around the world to bring you the highest quality products to our customers.

MY ORDER

I want to change my order

We are not able to make any changes to your order once you have hit the 'Check Out' button, this includes the following:

- Changing the item or size
- Delivery/billing address
- Adding items to your order
- Shipping method

Can I cancel my order?

It is possible to cancel your order within 30 minutes. Please send us an email with your order number.

*If you input the inccorrect address at checkout and the order has already been processed, we can not be held accountable if the order goes missing. We are not liable to refund/replace this order.

I am missing an item from my order

In the unlikely event you are missing an item from your order, please contact us immediately with the following information:

- Your order number
- The name of the item you did not receive

Once we have received the above info, our customer support team will get this sorted out for you.

ALL CLAIMS FOR ORDERS ARRIVING WITH MISSING ITEMS MUST BE MADE WITHIN 7 DAYS OF THE DELIVERY DATE.

You have sent me the wrong item

In the unlikely event you have received the wrong item, please contact us immediately with the following information to ensure that we can get this resolved for you as fast as we can:

- Your order number
- The name of the item you did not receive
- The name of the item you received in it's place
- A clear photograph of the item you have received, including logo

Once we have received the above info, our customer support team will get this sorted out for you.

You may be asked to return the incorrect item back to us through our returns process. See our Returns & Refunds page, if you're not sure how to do this.

Dellivery information

If you order before 2pm on working days, your order will be processed and shipped the same day.

Orders placed on Friday after 2pm and during the weekend will be processed and shipped on Monday.

Estimated Delivery: 1-2 working days

Shipping Worldwide:

Standard delivery: € 19,95

*The above times are estimates and delivery times may take longer. Working days do not include weekends and public holidays. During busier periods, it can take up to two business days for your order to be shipped. Orders placed on Friday (after 4:00 PM), Saturday and Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

RETURN & REFUND

What is your return policy?

If you have any doubts about your received products, don't worry; you have 100 days from the delivery date to return it. If our product does not meet your expectations, we will take it back.

Products must be unworn and unwashed with all tags still attached and in it's original packaging.

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so that we can assess the problem and resolve it for you.

For the Netherlands and Belgium we offer free returns.

Which items can I return?

You can return all Items from your order. Please see below for any exeptions to this rule:

- Socks can be returned if they are sealed in their original packaging
- E-Gift Cards can not be returned/refunded
- Sale items can not be returned/refunded

Exchanges

Exchanges are currently not available.

How do I return my items?

You have 100 days from the delivery date to return it.

Products must be unworn and unwashed with all tags still attached and in it's original packaging.

You can make a return with your account. Log in and follow your order and the instructions.

If you have orderd as a guest, you can request a return via our contact form.

For the Netherlands and Belgium we offer free returns.

If your return is accepted, you will receive the instructions on how and where to send you package.

*Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted!

If you are located outside the Netherlands and Belgium, you are responsible for the costs of your return.

Please keep hold of any proof of postage until you have been refunded correctly, in case you need this at a later date.

Have you received my return yet?

Depending on the country you're from & the returns courier you choose when returning your item(s), delivery times back to our warehouse can vary.

When will I get my refund?

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at finance@athleticbees.com, please include in your message:

- Proof of postage
- The tracking number
- Your order number

We'll then get back to you as soon as we can!

I have received a faulty item

We are sorry to hear you have received a faulty item. Please send us the following info:

- Your Order Number
- Item Name
- Photos that show: The fault as clearly as possible, Full-length photo of the item, The Athletic Bee logo and label.

Please keep hold of the item until you've been in touch.

Giveaways

With the giveaways on our social media you can win e-gift cards and items from our webshop.

The won e-gift cards will be sent by e-mail after we have received the details of the winner. The e-gift cards are valid for 1 to 2 months, depending on the type of giveaway. Purchased items that are returned will be refunded as an e-gift card. E-gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.

The won items will be sent by post after we have received the details of the winner. The won items cannot be returned or exchanged for other items.

E-Gift Cards

How do I purchase a gift card?

You can purchase a gift card via the accessories page on the website. Gift cards will not be physically shipped, you will receive a conformation e-mail containing your Gift Card code.

How long is my gift card valid?

Our gifts cards are valid for 1 (one) year after purchase.

Do I have to use the full amount in one order?

No, the amount you spend will be deducted from your gift card credit. You can use the same gift card code on a new order you place.

Can I use a gift card & make a card payment on the same order?

Yes, this is possible.

Can I use a gift card during an sale?

Yes!

Can I use a discount code when purchasing a gift card?

No, this is not possible. If your order has more items than just the gift card, the discount will be taken off these items and not the price of the gift card.

I placed an order using my gift card & now I want to return an item

Orders paid with a gift card will be refunded to the gift card.

If you used split payment, the refund will be refunded first to the gift card and any remaining balance will be paid back to the other payment method originally used, within 3-7 working days.
